Scientific name: Aprosmictus erythropterus
Size: 32cm
Status: Common
Diet: Feeds on seeds, fruits, buds and blossoms in the foliage.
Habitat: Sub-tropical and semi-arid eucalypt and casuarina woodlands and mulga shrublands.
Breeding: They lay their eggs on a bed of decayed wood in a tree hollow often near water between August and February.
